I received the CBD Hip & Joint Soft Chews from Pure Spectrum to try with my senior pitbull mix, Scooby, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well he responded. Scooby is 15, so taste and texture matter more so than usual. These chews ended up being perfect for him! They’re soft enough for his older teeth, and he actually liked the flavor, which sort of surprised me as he's gotten much pickier in his old age.
It took about 2 and a half weeks of daily treats before I began to notice a difference. Scooby has gotten the monthly Librela pain shot for his hips & joints for several years now. Usually, he becomes pretty stiff and slows down as the shot wears off towards the end of the 3rd week. We are well into week 4 after the shot and he has shown no signs of stiffness. In fact, he's been bugging my 3-year-old Great Pyrenees to wrestle with him more than usual haha.
Another unexpected improvement was his appetite. Scooby had been eating less at mealtimes for a few weeks, but after starting these chews, he was finishing his entire bowl again.
For any pet parent with an aging dog who needs a little extra support, these are definitely worth trying!!
BONUS: I also found Pure Spectrum customer service to be SUPER friendly and responsive. They actually cared about my Scooby's needs and our experience with the product. 10/10, would recommend!

I started adding these CBD hip & joint soft chews into my dog, Zoe’s, routine now that she’s officially 7. As a Toy Aussie who enjoys hiking, adventures, and staying active, I like that they’re made with CBD plus joint-support ingredients to help with mobility and comfort as she gets older. Wow! What a big difference this soft chew has made with my 70 pound pitbull. Not only does he think these are yummy treats, but he’s been moving around so much better and has chilled out a bit with his reactivity. We will be ordering again!

I have a 2-year-old husky and an 8 year old german shepard/ lab mix, and they BOTH love and equally benefit from these! My older baby isn't quite moving around as well as she used to, so the extra support for her hips and joints is huge, and my younger husky boy is so active so I love giving him these- both as a preventative measure for his joints, but also to help him recover from a long day being a crazy husky. 10/10 for large breeds or older pups, these are a must!
